Welcome to Jefferson Elementary School

"Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe"

Jefferson Principal
Joyce Mininger

Jefferson ... a community where all students, staff and families are successful, valued and connected by the joy of learning!

As crazy as it seems, we have officially hit the halfway mark of the 2017-2018 school year! This month we have our Valentine’s Day Family Breakfast, sponsored by our fabulous PTO. We also have a Sergio’s Take Over on February 27th – join us at Sergio’s for dine in or take out and a portion of the proceeds will come directly back to fund enrichment activities through our PTO. All our 3rd and 4th graders will be traveling to Seattle on February 9th to visit the Pacific Science Center, thanks to a generous grant from the Port Angeles Education Foundation. And block your calendars for the evening of March 8th for a family literacy night in which your students will be sharing their writing, and March 16th for our 2nd annual GLOW PARTY (this year we are foregoing the run, and just doing the party!). Thank you, as always, for your amazing partnership in this wild ride of education.
