 What My Home Means to Me 2018 Essay ContestThird grade essay contest winners and their teachers gathered for a group photo at the April 20 What My Home Means to Me awards breakfast, held at First Presbyterian Church, and sponsored by the Port Angeles Association of Realtors.

Grand prize winner Stacey True read aloud his essay to the crowd of parents, family members, teachers and realtors.  “My home is warm and happy…” he began.

Stacey is taught by Elizabeth Martinez at Hamilton Elementary.

Second place grand prize went to Carter Tallmadge at Franklin Elementary and third place grand prize to Neveah Nelson at Dry Creek Elementary.


The publication, with all students’ art work and essays, was a special insert in the April 20, 2018 issue of the Peninsula Daily News.
